Review of ’Rangiberangi’, a marathi movie releasing this week.
Rangiberangi cannot be put into any of the particular genre to which marathi movies are so obsessed. It not a comedy, not a tragedy, not a grameen film and nor a romantic film.
Simply put this is a story of a village boy who comes to big city to make justice to education and makes it big in a short period thanks to his abilities and his godfather uncle’s short cut tips like changing his name to Aman from Ganesh.
During one his assignments he and his ultra rich client, daughter (Neeta)of a biz tycoon fall in love and quickly reach threshold of marriage. Kahani gets a twist when one of the patient at neeta’s NGO fancies Neeta as her mother and makes her accompany her. Li’l girl and Aman share same rare blood group which means Aman also helps her with donating blood.
While Aman estrages from his village family, Neeta drifts away from him staying more and more at li’l girls family. What happens later is a complex tale of Aman and Neeta’s love. Its not point sploining the fun by giving entire story. Make a trip to the movie hall and catch the fun!
