We have booked two tickets for tour to chardham by Rao Travels during May 13 to 24, 2011. We have been allotted seat numbers 26 and 27 and to our surprise the bus is of 25 seater and they told us to sit in the back row even though there are no seat numbers.
As there is more than 50 persons we have been accommodated in a bus that does not belongs to Rao Travels. There is no guide in the bus and one joined us in Risihkesh and he do not know any thing about the travel plan and also about the places. The food served during the yatra is very bad and many times we had to stand on road like beggars to had the food.
They prepared breakfast and lunch together in the morning 3 clock and served the breakfast around 8.30 and lunch around 2.00. The accommodation at the hotels are of poor quality excepting in one or two places. Luckily the condition of the bus is very good and the driver was very skilful while negotiating the dangerous curves on ghat road. He knows all the routes very well. This is the only plus point in whole journey. Finally I do not recommend Rao travels for this type of yatras.
