I worked at Rapidsoft Technologies full-time for more than a year
Pros – Thought appox. 1 hr but at the end found no pros, not even a single one.
Cons – Lets start the story. By reading the heading, I think you have got the idea like what I am going to explain. This review is specifically for experienced guys who are thinking to join this hell. After going through the below points, I dont think anyone can join this place. I am hesitating to use the word "company" for it, because company is a sophisticated word. Freshers who are rejected from all other companies are warmly welcomed here.
Here are the hidden policies that everyone need to know before being a part of it :
- Infrastructure wise, its like a hell. Its the first company I have ever seen which runs in the basement.
There are three floors, toilets are on the top floor and they are worst than the public toilets. It really stinks. Cafeteria is just beside these toilets.
No canteen. Non-AC cafeteria. During lunch you will feel like you are a labour who is working in a factory.
Salary is credited on 11th of every month or sometimes later.
Dont expect your joining letter on the very first day. They will judge you for 1 or 2 months or more and if you are found out of the world, only then joining letter will be given to you. I myself begged my joining letter for 1 month. It made me feel like a beggar.
Everyone here except employees behave like a boss, even the office boys.
Cab is given after 10pm and that too depends on the mood of the office boy who has been assigned this task. Sometimes, salary will be deducted from your account for taking cab.
Your salary structure will contain a performance linked variable pay factor. During induction you will be promised that at least 85% of this would be given to you. But in reality its between 40-50% only and that is given after a long time of 1 year. If you are under probation then its 0%.
Your salary structure will also contain a Diwali bonus which is deducted from your CTC. Generally this is given on Diwali if you are a confirmed employee. If you are under probation or if you are a confirmed employee but leave the company before Diwali then it will not be given to you.
Appraisals are never given and if given then it would be after 1.5 years or later.
Most of the TLs in this company are engaged in freelancing along with their favorite employees. And CEO is out of this knowledge because she hardly takes interest in companys operations and its policies.
No CTO and so the managers behave like its their company.
You yourself are responsible for the bill of dinner. They provide Rs.100/person.
Most of the senior employees are from companies like SynapseIndia and I dont need to explain this point further.
One of the managers is so political that to be on the safer side, he fires the employees who work under him. I got to know from some senior persons inside the company that till now in one year he has fired 25 employees. There are so many cases that are filed against him in the labour court.
Last but not the least and the most important one to be noted is that you can get fired at any time. I personally saw on a day that 8 persons got fired without any prior intimation and they were called not to come from tomorrow. And some employees who were absent on that day, were informed on phone for their termination.
This is only the 25% of this company. If you somehow join this place ignoring all the above points you will feel it yourself. Thanks.
Advice to Senior Management – Replace the whole management and administration or there will be no sign of this company in the company years.
