Ok, So here is about this best Restaurant which is situated in suburb of Mumbai. This hotel is situated at main road called S.V. Road at Goregaon (West). Ratna is our family restaurant. Monthly one or two times we visit to this restaurant. It takes 10 mins from my home to this Restaurant. I dont no at what time this restaurant established but when I was 5 yrs. old from that day I am goin to this restaurant.. I am veg and there are lots of veg restaurant in Goregaon. Ratna, Prashant, Shradha Sagar and lots.. Lalit Bar & Restaurant is havin both veg and non-veg but they have also special table and room for veg people.
Ok so now come back to Ratna. I have seen lots of changes in hotel Ratna just one or two years ago only they have totally changed design of Ratna hotel and made it more attractive to people. Ratna hotel has recived 2nd Grade in the price of the hotel and service, that means this hotel is perfect for Middle Class family. In this hotel sitting is of two types 1) Outside sitting and 2) Inside sitting, mostly people sit outside of hotel but some people also sit inside of the hotel.
Staff and Service:
This hotels staff members are very nice they always talk to customers with respectfully. There are lots of waiters you can find. As soon as customer enter in to the hotel and sit on the chair customer will recive menu from any one of the waiter. After reciving menu waiter come in 5 mins to take order and if you havent decided what to eat then waiter will arrive again in next 2 mins. After giving order to the waiter, waiter will take your food and place on to your table as soon as your food get ready. They always server fresh food so it takes some time to cook food. Overall the service is this hotel is not very fast and also not very slow that means medium speed of service.
Fav. food:
This hotel is udipi hote like other hotels which is managed by South Indian. There are lots of food to eat like Dosa, Idli, Pav Bhaji, Club Sandwitch, Veg Hot Dog, and lots.. I cant write whole menu ;) As my fav. dish is Bhel but at Ratna I prefer to take Pav Bhaji theres Pav Bhaji is really very nice, In goregaon two hotel’s Pav Bhaji is famouse one is Sudama hotel and other is Ratna hotel.
Presentation:
This is not a 5 star hotel or 3 star hotel so they are not presenting food in very attractive manner. They present food in the normal way that other hotels are presenting the food to the customers.
Meal:
I have eat the Meal of this hotel 5 to 6 times.. mostly when my mother go for outdoor. Me, my brother and my father went to the hotel and take a meal. Meal is known as Thali and this Thali comes in two categories, Thali and Special Thali. I didnt remember whats the diffrent is there between this two but I am sure that they are giving more food in special thali other than normal thali. Average cost of the meal is nearly 50 rs. (i.e. 1$) I dont no exactly but its near to this that is sure. UPDATED - after reading the comment of paragk he told me that Ratna has stopped serving thali, I dont no about it.. so please note this also..
Reservation and Parking:
This hotel does not have Reservation system so customers cant reserver there place. This hotel is on the main road so there is alo parkin is not available. But side of the road there is place where customers can park there vehicles. Managment of this hotel is very nice and also the way they are maintaining hotel is also very nice.
I like this hotel and prefer only this hotel if family or friends wants to take a food, because this hotel is having every thing they also have Free Home Delivery Facility and its service is little bit slow but ok.
Near to Ratna hotel there is bus stop, 5 to 6 yrs. ago that bus stop was known as Filmistan Bus Stop but now it is known as Ratna Hotel Bus Stop.
