Recently, I did a trouser stitching from Raymond’s shop @ Oberoi Mall, Goregaon to fit to order. The guys did a pathetic job - even after trial, the final product delivered was not up to the mark. The color of thread used in stitching is not matching with the color of cloth & even you can see the alteration stitch marks all over based on resizing done after trial. This is completely unacceptable from Raymond’s. Next I’d purchased another ready to fit trouser from Coton Plus, which is again a Raymond’s brand in half the price. Although they also altered the length, but to my surprise it was a much better buy. The whole reason to going to Raymond’s was it’s fit to order rather than ready to fit from Coton Plus. If that value is not understood, then they should close their lousy stitching division & concentrate on ready-made business.
