The customer service provided by RBL Bank is exceptionally poor. When you raise a complaint with them, they tend to defend their position without proper verification. They often send emails claiming that the issue is resolved, even when its not. I recently missed an EMI payment and proactively sent them an email, apologizing for the delay and providing a specific date for repayment within a reasonable timeframe. However, their collection agent resorted to threats against both my wife and me, and they even mentioned the possibility of legal action. I escalated this matter to senior management, but they did not respond.
The customer care team insists that such intimidating tactics are a normal part of their recovery process, and they seem to believe it is their standard procedure. Ive sent three emails to customer service, requesting a change in my EMI payment date, but they have yet to make this adjustment. The salesperson who originally provided the loan assured me that a simple email to customer care could result in a change of the EMI date. This experience has left me disillusioned with the bank, as they appear to lack ethical standards and provide subpar customer service.
