This is meant for a very very specific band of people like me who are in a dilemma after their 10th. Typically their score is from 85 - 89% and they donot want biology. This leaves u with little options, despite a good score. U can forget Ruparel and Ruia and maybe u have chance in Sathaye. I had 87 and I joined National college, electronics. I was lucky to have good company( as in, serious abt studies) If u dont, u have to be a loner, im afraid. Donot get drawn into a crowd which wants u to join them for a trip to McDonalds or somting like that. This college is not so bad though. If u study and focus on studies, no one disturbs you. No ragging takes place. 11th teaching is good, whereas, 12th teaching is non existant, so plz join some coaching. They wont teach for CET. They will do the formalities well. Practicals should be attended 100% and u will have no problem. Office people are lazy, but u will eventually get ur job done properly.
And dont worry about wether its possible to excel in 12th from such a college.
I managed 93% pcm, with CET rank of 107, and IIT mains rank of 4467( yes, I passed) so, dont if u want engg, drop bio altogether and focus. Oh, and the electronics department is helpful, as long as u are sincere. Leave PCM to coaching classes and English to god.
