I had sent my bike from Bangalore to Ahmedabad though’ Real cargo packers and movers’( https://moversandpackersbangalore.net) . Little did I know that this is the worst service I had availed.
The offer: been given a point to point delivery at a rate that’s 30% lesser than well know movers in Bangalore and a reasonable lead time of 7 days, compared to 5 claimed by most of the other services. I assumed its a good offer for the price point. They have convincing fake testimonials on their website that mislead my judgement
The experience:
The bike got picked up from home on a Saturday. Expected to be dispatched on Monday, the estimated day of arrival was next Monday.
I checked back with him on Tuesday to find out if the bike had been dispatched and was told the bike would be sent on Tuesday. The estimated day of arrival moves to next Tuesday.
I get no updates on the current status of my shipment so I call them on Friday. I am told not to call them and irritate them. And my bike would reach on the next Thursday. When I ask him why the delay. I was told that they would not entertain such queries and they will return the bike to me in Bangalore. It was unpleasant to have such a response after a week of the shipment being in their possession.
When I don’t receive a call from them again. I called them on Thursday. The expected date to delivery again to be told that it may reach on fri or sat. Finally it reaches Ahmedabad on Saturday.
To top it all off. They say there is no point to point delivery and the bike has to be picked up from their office in the suburbs of the city while I had paid for a point to point service.
Quiet a bad Experience. Sometimes customer is not king . But at mercy of the service they chose. Terrible when one has shelled out considerable amount of money and time. While the service provider doesn’t care once they have received the order and payment.
