Real is a magazine for women. It came out last year, so is quite a new magazine really. It comes out fortnightly and did cost £1.50, but lately it has been costing only a £1, which is a real bargain.
The front page of the magazine is glossy, and usually has different women on the front each fortnight. The front page lets you know some of the articles that are inside the magazine.
I will talk about issue 4 which is the 26th of February to the 11th of March, as I do not want to write about an up to date one for people that want to buy the magazine. I will give you an idea of what you will find in the magazine. There are 122 pages to look through, so there is plenty to read.
First of all, there is the contents page. Here you will find the following catergories:-
Regulars - Letters, horoscopes
Travel
Food
Family Life
Feature - Stories
Fashion
Home and Shopping
Health and Beauty
Regulars - Here you will find the letter page. These letters are usually about features they have had in past copies of the magazine. The star letter always wins something. This time is a skincare package.
Real Men - Here is a story about What men think makes us good in bed.
Real Life - These are true stories. Here you will find a story on Getting greedy. It is about a couple winning the lottery.
There is also a story about Patsy Palmer who was in Eastenders. It is a story about mental illness. It also covers other peoples stories about it too.
There is also a story for mothers day called Last a lifetime.
Home Makeover - This is where they make over your home. It tells you a story about the person and what they changed and bought for your home.
Real Celebrity - Here they write about a famous person. This time it is about Tom Cruise. There is also a big picture of him for any fans of his.
Reportage - This features a woman who wanted help in attracting men. She signed up to a flirting academy, so you can see what she gets up to.

Then there is the problem pages. These are split in to sections. There is the whole body health problems, where you ask Dr John Briffa your problem. Any advice problems that you have, then you ask Kate Saunders anything you want to know.
Healthlife - This is things about health. It covers many things like body image.
Family Life - This is based on children. There is a story about being bullied. Also a kids zone which shows are they drinking enough and some games for them to play. Then there is another story called In for a penny, which is about teaching your children about money.
Food - Here they have different recipes to try out every fortnight. This time it is from France.
Home Solutions - This gives you steps on selling your house. It covers each room in your house.
Shopping - This gives you a list of colours and what to buy for this fortnight.
Travel - They do different places each fortnight. This time it is France and Wales.
Working Life - This tells you to find a coach, to help you find the right job.
It then covers about money and where to shop on line.
real night in and real night out - Here it tells you how to have a great time at home and all you need to know before going out.
Then there is the horoscopes page and they ask questions to a person and you can read what they say.
So that is everything that you find in Real magazine each fortnight. Obviously the stories change, and they are always really good to read too. Some are funny and some have been really sad as well.
The only downside to this magazine is that there are loads of advertisements, for clothes, cream and more.
You can buy this magazine from any newsagents or supermarkets for £1 each fortnight.
I would recommend this magazine to anyone that likes real life stories at a bargain price!!!
