REALITY SHOWS aired on various TV channels were in a great demand for a quite a long time.
But, nowadays with the start of numerous reality shows altogether, people have now again changed their minds to the saas-bahu serials of Ekta Kapoor. We can tell this, since when the creators of FAME X came to know that there is not working, and then they added a new interesting element in their show i.e., PALASH and DALER’s fake fight on screen.
And with this mantra, other reality shows started with it like ZEE Cinestars, etc.
Well, the creator of Reality shows in Indian television was V channel with their first band group-VIVA.
After this, an age of reality shows began with some of them as Zee cinestars 1(zee TV), ROADIES 1(mtv), AASMA band group(v), etc.
But, the real fame to these shows was given by Sony’s first INDIAN IDOL.
With the success of this show, a new trend began on television. With this show, the common man started relating himself with one or the other way.
People used to vote repetitively to the same contestant for their own reasons.
People used to laugh, cry, and enjoy this show.
And then, many shows like Indian Idol 2 and Fame Gurukul(sony), Fame X(sab), Zee cinestars 2(zee), series of Roadies 2, 3, 4(mtv), Nach baliye 1(star one), Jhalak Dikhlaja(sony), etc. were inaugurated.
But now the makers have no other concept and therefore they are getting bored.
In my opinion, reality shows cannot work for more than a year.
And then the channels have to think for things to get good TRP, like FAME X.
I think comedy shows can do better business.
But still looking forward to Indian Idol 3.
