Whenever I hear a mention of Rebecca, the thought that first comes to my mind is ’’that chilling mystery that had me haunted for days after I read it’’ . The story was so brilliantly gripping that even today I feel haunted by Rebecca’s character whenever I think about her. I must have read this classic atleast ten times through my teens. I had read this book on a friend’s recommendation. Though I’m not much for suspense and mysteries, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Also, saw the movie made on it, but nothing can beat the book. It can keep you stuck in a room till you’ve turned the last page...it is so captivating a mystery. Read it if you get a chance. Some books just cannot be ignored!! Try to get your hands on other Daphne books. She’s absolutely great..
