I had book two ticket from Shirdi to Mumbai on 6th march 2011 by Konduskar travels through Red bus. I was traveling with my wife. The booking was proper and I got proper seat. But after say about 30 min the bus A/c stop functioning and it was around 3.00 pm in hot sun. We started feeling suffocating. We inform driver and cleaners they were four of them.
They told us arrogantly that it was functioning when we started our journey and if you have problem you can go by ST bus. Again after some time when it was difficult to sit in the bus as in Volvo bus there are no windows we again inform the driver, he just park the bus aside the highway in hot sun and told us that he is now not ready to take the bus and you all can manage your self. He then started fighting with the passengers.
At last we told him that we are going to call police and they will take care of this situation. They were then afraid and were ready to take bus till Nashik in Konduskar office in same condition without A/c. At Konduskar office in Nashik when we inform them about the situation they were not able to arrange bus for us and after long fight of passenger they refunded us our money back and we had to manage our-self from Nashik to Mumbai.
It was a very tough time for me and especially when you are with your family.
I will never suggest anybody to go by Konduskar Travels. There buses are old, Management is poor and main thing there driver/cleaner don’t have manners to talk to passengers.
I can understand its a machinery and I may fail some time but in such situation its they responsibility to talk properly and provide service to passengers as we are paying money.
