Ticket booked via Redbus but journey was refused

Last sunday(25th jan 2015) I had a booking from bangalore to Kerala via Redbus and the travels name is A1 travels from Madivala.


When I was about to board the bus, travels have not allowed me to enter the bus as they said the ticket was not booked in their system. They asked me to speak to Redbus as Redbus has not punched that ticket for me in the operators system.


When I contacted Red bus it took more than 45 mins to catch one representative and he wanted to speak to the travels, but by the time they speak each other and brought down the situation to normal bus was delayed for 2 hours just because me was stopping the bus from moving as it was late night. End of the day Redbus has agreed to refund the full ticket fair and I had to take a new ticket in different travels to reach my home town.


When a ticket is booked via online, we believe the ticket has been properly booked in respective operators system, but redbus does not properly check these things, hence we are put into trouble during the journey, that too in the last minute.


Its been 3 days but my money also not refunded yet, I strongly believe our journey can be put into trouble if we believe in these types of agents, I think its better to use bus operators respective websites itself, such as SRS, KPN and Kallada etc.
