On 24.12.2014 by 8 pm I had booked a ticket through online from MADURAI to ANGAMALY/ERNAKULAM. The departure time was 9 P.M. at FATIMA COLLEGE in the outskirts of Madurai.
I reached the boarding point by 8.50 p.m. I rang up the two numbers printed on the ticket both of which were switched off. No help was available.
After dozen desperate calls to the operator& co, I learnt to my utter dismay that the bus had left with out taking me. They didn’t have the basic courtesy to check my whereabouts! I was well in time at the boarding point mentioned in the ticket.
I presume they had taken other passenger in my place leaving of high and dry. I have cancelleled the return ticket for today back to Madurai losing a good amount.
Moral don’t rely on red bus cartel. Buy physical ticket and find good operator whom one can rely. Here it was a travels named SUPAA travels from MADURAI.
A bitter taste of red bus guys- most unreliable when you are in an hurry to go to your destination.
No accountability.
