On 28th may, 2012, 6.40 pm I booked 3 tickets from bangalore to pune for 15 june, 2012, ticket no te6u44772879. My complaint is, when I booked the ticket, the website was showing the time of departure as 9.30 pm and fare as 900.
I proceeded to book the tickets. In the end however when I took prints of ticket it said 4.30 pm departure.
Confused when I opened the website, the same bus was changed to 4.30 pm, all other details remaining the same.
There was a different bus available now for 9.30 pm with ticket rate =1500. How can they just change the bus timing to 4.30 from 9.30? when I asked the same question to their customer care, bangalore, vanitab, she failed to understand my problem and asked if I want to rebook 9.30 tickets at higher price. When I insisted she said sheLL discuss with higher authorities and call back, which she never DID.
I however received a call from another guy asking if I want to book return tickets. I again explained the issue to him, which he plainly refused to believe.
I wrote to their customer care but they simply deny the incident. They say I booked 4.30 pm ticket consciously. Why would I do that? I have 2 of my colleagues as witness who saw the same ticket mentioned as 9.30 pm departure.
But redbus is ready to question a loyal customers integrity and credibility rather than admitting their mistake. Now they are asking me to cancel the ticket online, which will cause a loss of 270 rs.
I regret the day I started using their services, liked them on facebook and recommended to friends.
Through this complaint I want redbus to admit their mistake and also ask others to declare if they had the same issue or noticed this error.
