Following is copy of the letter I finally wrote to the rediff customer care team after a month of despair in waiting for my draft for order of rediffmail plus inbox
I am very much depressed with the financial courier service m/w skypak finance ltd. of your rediffmail services. The courier officials were supposed to collect the draft within a week from the date of order 8th june 2004.
The skypak people called me up on 22nd june 2004 afternoon (coincidentally, when I was attending my grandfather’s 10th day rituals, but still I made a point to talk over the phone to the courier service officials without hesitation). Their call was regarding details about collecting the draft for rediffmail plus. I told them it was ready long time back and that they can come anytime that evening itself and collect it. But they insisted they’ll come the next day (23 june 2004) at around 5:30 or 6pm in the evening to collect it. But to my despair... they haven’t come till date to my residence (i.e. 8th july early morning, I am mailing you! )
In this case, I have cancelled the draft I’d made for your rediffmail plus services. And I want you to make note of it. I expected a lot from rediffmail plus services but its not upto the point.
I was not loyal to rediff since a long time as I prefered yahoo! but then I thought atleast rediff will give good service for paid services, but it gives me a chance to give you the bad feedback of your services.
Another point I dislike in rediff is the pop-up window which appears everytime while opening https://rediff.com. pop-ups during email checking itself was irritating and to my despair, this new window popping while opening the site itself is more irritating. It is my earnest request to stop that pop-up window while opening the site!
