I’ve been using the Redmi A5 4G for a couple of weeks now, and for its price point, it’s honestly one of the best entry-level phones you can buy right now.
The 6.88-inch HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate is surprisingly smooth for a budget device. I was not expecting such a vibrant display with a 120 Hz display under 7000 rupees. The 5, 200mAh battery easily lasts me a full day, and the 15W charging is decent for quick top-ups. I appreciate the 32MP main camera, which takes decent photos in daylight, and the 8MP selfie camera is more than enough for video calls. You cannot expect exceptional performance from a 7-8k rupees phone, but I have had no complaints with this one so far. For anyone looking for a reliable, no-frills smartphone for basic tasks, the Redmi A5 4G is a solid choice.
