I wear chappals and floaters only.
My feet are too broad and toes too long to comfortably fit in any shoes.
I have owned many floaters - usually from nike -before buying two reeboks.
The store salesman said they were fully washable , -no leather only synthetic materials seemed to be used.
The looks were attractive and the fit was nice.
Unfortunately they stink after some time.
Especially if after get wet.
What is the point of floater if you cant use them ona beach?
No it is not the feet, it is the floaters.
No amount of sun drying or washing , or even bleach helps,
Once the stink starts it remains constant and nothing ,
not even leaving them in the sun helps.
This happened with both floaters.
I suspect it has something to do with the plastic or the foam used in the shoe.
Ordinary bathroom chappals wear much better, survive washing and never never stink .
Despite all else , the stink makes the product completely unusable.
