How long should it last ?

I bought a pair of Reebok shoes last year. In less than a month some of the accessories started falling off, so I went back to their showroom on Linking Road to see what could be done. The salesperson took the shoes and said he would show it to a Reebok salesguy and get back to me. Well he did, after 10 days & asked me to take another pair. unfortunately that pair was no longer available though I had loved it. So I paid an excess of 1500 and got another pair. Now that pair started making a strange squeaking sound when I walk. Then the sole peeled off from the front. I went back, they stuck it back together. Then it peeled off from the back, I went back & they said now the shoe is one & half year old so I’ll have to get it fixed by a cobbler !

My question again - Is one year all the time that one can trust one’s products. And dont wa buy such expensive shoes because we want quality and dont want to end up standing in front of a cobbler getting an almost new shoe fixed ?? For the record I only use the shoes for walking, not even running !

Also, I buy Reebok Bags and that too tears in no time. Their reply is ’’We give no guarantee for accessories ’’ Then we should say ’’ Then dont sell them’’

I then wrote an email to the Product Manager if reebok in Delhi informing him all this. I never recieved a reply !

Now I am sure I will never ever buy a Reebok product again.
