BEWARE: FRAUD REEBOK: DO NOT BUY FROM REEBOK COMPANY’S ONLINE STORE IN INDIA: THEY ARE DUMPING OUTDATED / EXPIRED ITEMS TO INDIAN CONSUMERS AND OPENLY LOOTING US.

Friends, I had purchased Resistance Tube from Reebok’s own official Online store at https://shop4reebok.com/ on 25.01.2018 but the item could not survive 3.5 months usage. On complaining, Reebok replied that the item is out of warranty and they are unable to help me.
Here, it became crystal clear that they are selling items, which have either crossed their intended age or selflife or say expired for usage. I am enclosing my email correspondence with Reebok’s Customer Care so that other Indian Nationals can understand the point and avoid buying from Reebok’s Online Store. You can see that they have avoided any word regarding expired goods as they are aware that what they have sold is very old and expired item. Now they have removed the product from their listing on their Website!. Isn’t it a proof of their mischievous act?
You can also imagine, if Official Online Store is selling such expired / substandard items, then what will you expect from Retail Brand Store or franchises?
Since, we have no stringent standard adopted by our Government, Reebok is adopting this type of tactic of dumping expired goods in Indian markets.
I am also in the process of filing complaint in Consumer Court and also will alert Customs Department for not giving Import clearances to such type of goods in India for saving our brothers and sisters from such fraudulent action of Reebok.

I had purchased Resistance Tube from your online store on 25.01.18
My order summary is given at the bottom of this mail.
My Resistance Tube broken only after usage of a couple of months as it took me a month and half for installing a bracket for it.
I am highly disappointed.
I had never imagine such a cheap and inferior quality from a brand like yours. In past I have used shoes of your company but there was never any complaint of inferior or substandard quality.
I am sending you pics of my broken band. You can see the quality of it.
I think the Resistance Tube I got was either very old and its life was ended or there was some manufacturing defect because tube appears crackled and the portion, which appears broken shows that half part was broken from the beginning and the remaining broke recently.
I hope you understand my concerns and replace my Resistance Tube at the earliest.
Since I have purchased the product directly from Company Website, I have very high expectations of quality and also of Customer Service.
Hope you will not disappoint me.

I am highly disappointed with your stereotype reply that the product is out of warranty period and you are not able to help me.
Actually, I was expecting some professional approach from your end.
I would like to inform that the product under reference, that you have sold to me, could not sustain a working period of less than 3.5 months due to its inferior quality.
As I informed in my earlier mail, I strongly believe that the Resistance Tube I got was either very old and its life was ended or there was some manufacturing defect because tube appears crackled.
Since, this one is serious lapse on your part, that your official site is selling such an inferior quality goods, how one will rely on retail stores and other selling channels created by you?
I have lost my hard earned money and also lost my faith in quality of your companys products.
I am highly unsatisfied with your reply and I hope you forward my mail to your higher level officers, who are having more business sense and thinking about customer satisfaction.
If my complain is not resolved properly, I will treat the same as fraud / online cheating scam of Reebok and I will be forced to pursue my matter through forums like: Consumer Forum or Online websITES_Company like https://mouthshut.com or any other of my choice so that not only other consumers will be aware about the reality but also stop buying from your website.
