My brother has been wearing Reflex Shoes of and on for a number of years. The quality of these shoes have been of what I would expect and they normally have a very good life span, that is until his most recent pair of formal shoes. The soles on both shoes have come away from the upper part at the toe end on both shoes. This isnt from over use or abuse, stains on the rubber front which Id consider to be normal for a 20 year old and the Sole has limited wear.
Luckily I thought, I have the receipt so we trotted back down to the store to exchange the faulty product. Having had issues with varying shoe companies over the years, I was fully prepared for the normalWe need to send them back to the manufacturer diatribe. Thinking that this was factory outlet store that a more International approach to good customer service and being an International company that this wouldnt probably be the case. HOW WRONG WAS I. The manager actually stated that theyd be sent back for and I quoteScientific analysis. This in spite of THEIR Store Return policy Poster clearly stating that they would happily exchange faulty products without the mentioning of this revolutionary scientific approach. So now I wait for a phone call for said report from this scientist who sits there all day analysis faulty shoes.(excuse my cynicism)
This kind of poor customer service isnt acceptable and seems to be a disease here. Consumers wont accept this in Europe or the US and we shouldnt either.
