This post comes after a tsunami type mass firing which happened only days ago removing about 20-24 employees of the company not because of poor performance not because of policy violation but because they did not fit in the grand plans of the CEO. Now Iam all for planning and restructuring but removing 24 employees in a single wave of hand when a few were managers(2 to be exact who deserved it in a way because what goes around comes around), a few were exceptional people who had an amazing work ethic and were great people technically but not good enough to succeed in the politically charged Reflexis environment.It is this latter count that is mind boggling.
The last time a similar tsunami came ie. 6 months back they said this was going to be the last time this restructuring was going to happen and the company was in safe hands.We were all skeptical and a sizable number of people started qutting and left the company.I was one among them and my fears seems justified now. Those who are still here must either be used to the pain, or be stupid enough that no other company accepts them or people who know to play the right political game.For the rest who dont belong in either of the three, it is just a matter of time before they leave.My heartfelt wishes to them.
One sentence to the management-You may have the best product in the world but you cant go to the top having a workforce which is disgruntled and afraid.
To people seeking for review-This company has no soul left in it. Please do not join it.
