rehna hai tere dil mein- at first I didn?t want to watch the movie because I thought it would be like any old movie?, as not many people around me spoke about like it , like they did for kaho na pyar hai, so I wasn?t interested. But when I didn?t have anything 2 watch I, I watched it instead and al I can say is it?s a wicked movie!
Basically, rehan hai tere dil mein is about a boy called madhav shastri, who is the college gangster- who smokes has a beard, a leather jacket with open buttons the lot!, eventhough he and his father are from a good family, he has an enemy who is also from a good family but acts like it asawell- closed buttons, shaved face, non smoker and is a sensible and decent boy called ?samrao?.
Both of them have fights everyday in college for mostly no reason at all, but maddy(madhav) starts them off, eventhough sam is his senior.
On the last day of college for sam, maddy walks up to him on his leaving party and asks him not to meet him in his life again. But sam says he wants to meet maddy so that he can have a fight with him and beat him!
The next scene is shown three years later when maddy has finally become a computer engineer and is successful in this job-with a shaven face and everything!, however he still has the old bad habits like smoking?.
One night while he is in Delhi it starts raining, so maddy goes 2 the closest phone booth to call his dad, and a car is also broken down near the booth. While ringing his dad maddy sees a girl (diya mirza aka reena) come out the car?its love at first sight... for him.
He coincidentally continue to meet, but reena doesn?t notice him, in the end he has to get her fone number off reenas friend shruti. He rings her to find the information that reenas already getting married
To find out what happens in the end, you?ve got to watch it, all I can say is that eventhough he knows she?s getting married he doesn?t give up to get her and the groom is also sum1 we all know and love.
