Never ever go for Reliance Broadband!

I had applied for a broadband internet connection in Nov 2010. After 15 days, I got a call from one of sales officer and he came to my place to get the form and other formalities done. He also asked for a cheque to be made and I promptly issued one amounting to Rs. 2206.


The officer, by the name of Gaurav (Contact No. 7827827783) promised that the connection would be  installed in 2-3 days. After 3 days, the engineer came to my place and  told that connection could not be installed because of low signal  strength in my area.


I contacted Gaurav after 3-4 days and he had no  idea about this. Could you believe it, the guy who sent the engineer to my place for installation had no idea that I never got the connection. I admit that signal strength was low and it could not be helped.


But that information never reached the guy who collected cheque from me. So lame and pathetic. He anyways said that my amount would be refunded very soon. Please note that this conversation happened somewhere between 5-15 Nov 2010.


Two months now and I am still waiting for my refund. I have followed up this many times with Gaurav but still I do not see any hope. I have already written to Reliance and hope that someone would  bother to check if I would be ever getting my refund back?


I hope I get a speedy response to this mail or else I have no option  but to approach consumer court against Reliance Communications.


So dear friends, my only advice to you, BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE OPTING FOR RELIANCE BROADBAND. A Wronged, Cheated and Angry Customer.
