I am from Nasik and have Reliance broadband connection on my wifes name( 398145499815). The plan is 1 Mbps unlimited(rs.549+taxes). It was working fine till last month, but this month it has been maddening experience with them.daily connection drops for hours, the dumb customer care sitting in Navi Mumbai just started making feel helpless. The prototype replies are seldom of use.
The net stopped working on 12th May evening, I promptly placed complaint number, got promise to get it resolved within 24 hrs, after which I again called them up. oops.again same answer "your complaint is in resolving status, will get done it soon", to pour salt on would the typical words "we can understand your problem".
Finally the net got online on 17th May, after helpless calling for 4 days.sorry 96 hours+ 2 hours=98 hours.Now according to company policy, if the connection remains down for 48 hours, I was to get waiver for the 4 days .i was doubtful of the Marwadi company. Unfortunately they kept their reputation and I didnt get the waiver.
Now its 29 May and still facing the same issue from last 3 days. Alas its India and we are here with very few options in broadband space. This is awfully monopolized market in contrast to other services in terms of price and service quality. Waiting for TIKONA broadband in our city.
