This complaint is regarding my Reliance Broadband connection, Internet user id: 287276870020, Landline No.: 02230695061, Complaint No.: 151625261


There are two complaints which I would like to highlight here.




  1. Internet

1. Internet


On 22nd April, 2011 my net all of a sudden stops working! I call to the customer care on 23rd at 12.30pm (noon) after waiting for one whole day, they say my account has been suspended due to non payment of bill which was about Rs 639. However credit limit on my account is more than Rs 2200, but still surprisingly my connection is suspended!. I immediately paid the amount while your customer care executive was on phone with me. I was promised my connectivity would resume in an hours time. The connection is yet to be restored !!!


I called the customer again on 23rd evening (8pm) to check for the status and I am told a new story that there is some upgradation work going on around Laxmi Industrial Estate, near my house in Andheri West hence the connection is not working and would resume at10.30pm!. After waiting the whole night I then again called them on 24th at 11.30am, now they say its some technical problem which has to be looked into, will send some one to check the connection and gave me a complaint no. which unfortunately I dint save. 25th Apr - no one turns up till 2.30pm, called up customer care again at 3pm, now he gives me another complaint no. 151625261 with a promise of resolution within 24hrs!. I called the customer support already twice till now as the deadline of 24hrs for resolution is also over. But still I am to have my problem resolved!!!


surprisingly I do not even get a call back intimating the delay or status of my complaint !!!


2. Landline


Was provided with a landline connection when applied for broadband. Dint need one but the sales guy said its free so took one. Surprisingly within a couple of months handset stopped functioning! Complained about this about 8-9 months ago (cant recollect the date) but no surprises here .. no resoltion or not even a single call from customer care to check if its working! On my call with customer care on 24th April, I had highlighted this as well. But again no response / reverts on this.


Please stop fooling around and give my money back and cancel this connection. I am actually sick of your services. A company having a name of reliance and just cheating people and charging money for no services. I surely do not want to stick to a company who has such pathetic and lethargic service standards.
