I am a customer of Reliance broadband over 3 years now. Since last three years their service had never been reliable. It always goes on and off. You can expect an outage or downtime almost every week and on many occasions it goes down for a week or more.
You call their customer care and they will say maintenance is going on. I think they are running their internet infrastructure on some age old devices which always require maintenance.
Since last 3 years I have been suffering, I was so busy with my job that I couldnt get time to change ISP. Recently I have started working from home and heavily depended on internet and I got a tight slap for using their internet service for such a long duration.
Now the important point. I got tired and changed my ISP and I sent reliance customer care an email on 6th May to cancel my connection and they acknowledged it and asked me the reason and I provided the true reason what I mentioned here.
Since then they have been troubling me and today is 16th and they havent disconnected my service continuing to charge me and asking me to wait to get a call from their representative with in 48 hours. I have provided my number and sent them multiple emails reminding them to call me at my number.
I dont know their 48 hours consists of how many hours. I assume normal beings 12 hours is equal to reliances 1 hour. I am still waiting to get a call from them and waiting. They were a pain when I used their service and also now when I try to get rid of them. I recommend them not to go for any reliance products. I will see not to go for anything which has reliance. Its a cancer, you can never get rid of.
