This Review is in reference to my 45 days experience with Reliance Broadband. I live in Gurgaon & the area I live the only DSL provider is Reliance. Else we have Tata Wireless.
I have to get Internet connectivity for Work From Home as per requirement from my office. I was very clear about what I need. I have to use VPN & that will be probably once a month or may be once in 2 months. I asked for plan 299 which gives 2 MBPS speed & 1 GB data download, but sales ppl said that Sir as for 1st timer only option is to get 649 plan with 300KBPS speed & Laldline phone.
That is the only plan that can be taken for enrollment. Later on you can switch to the plan you want. For initial days to test I actually struggled to the worst of my life to get my DSL working. Modem has never been able to get IP & God knows which company Modem it was. Ultimately when I shouted to chane modem, they changed it to ZTE which worked. I have office provided Mobile & so so my spouse have.
Hence Landline is still lying wrapped. When I connect, Reliance home login page takes almost 5 minutes to Pop up. VPN crawls like Snail. When I called up C.Care, they are denying to change my plan as I have a landline which neither I never asked, nor I ever wanted. Ultimately I am getting my DSL disconnected. To my surprise I have been called more than 3 times by Retention team trying to convince me for something which I never wanted.
Its realy a pain. Unable to understand why?
Sales ppl focus only on their targets & money & not what customer wants?
Why wrong info is given?
Please pass this to as many ppl as possible so that they can be careful before buying Reliance DSL. They are Cheaters.
