Seven calls, two emails and several visits to Reliance Web World and yet there was no sales representative from Reliance BroadNet that contacted me inspite of my proactive attempts to access their service for my residence.
Every time I contacted their customer support, they assured me that providing connection in my area is feasible (I stay in South Mumbai) and that their sales representative will be contacting me in the next 24/48/72 hours. Its been a month and a half (they dont call me Patient Consumer for nothing) and I had to resort to MTNL for getting Broadband service. Infact, their staff in Reliance Web Worlds at Fountain and Metro blankly refused that they had even started their service. Their website boasts of quickest response with detailed tariff and no where did I see any future date for commencement of provision of BroadNet service.
They could have put an end to my agony by simply telling me that provision of service was not feasible. I have been using their dialup connection using a cell-phone which is very very slow and the connection drops frequently. I had hoped that their Broadband service would have been better but their lack of response to incoming business makes me wonder about their after sales support!!
