I had bought reliance net connect and was using it in Kharadi area of Pune. I bought it for the reason that there is a reliance tower right next to my building, it worked fine initially but as the number of users grew in numbers, the speed became sloppy. A device shouldn’t be named broadband if the browsing speed varies between 0 - 10 kbps. Forget about downloading, browsing basic networking sites is a luxury with reliance netconnect. Even bsnl’s dialup service works better(even in remotest of the villages)
To add on to the woes, the customer care is such a pathetic mess, that if you reach out to get simplest of things done(like name correction/bill plan change), they’ll make you run from pillar to post and still things will be undone.
Even surrendering reliance netconnect connection is a nightmare, even after formally submitting papers for termination of services, you’ll be billed for months to continue with reminders from all sort of executives for the payment.
I will suggest everyone to stay off this ISP, if you want your life to be peaceful. It’s better to be without internet connection then being a customer of reliance.
