The folks are perhaps OK perhaps not OK, but their agents are definitely not OK. They first promised me a broadband connection using fiber optic cable. I paid for it, and then they installed a twisted paired cable instead. The agent had promised a speed of 75 KBPS, and it turned out to be up to 75 Kbps, i.e. 1/8 of promised value. They used to send me bills initially, but no receipts.
They stopped sending bills 6 months ago, and dont send even after complaining. They dont send receipts even now. They just have a woman with a phone who keeps making nagging calls for payment, expressing surprise that a bill has not been received by me.
They switch off the connection after some time of non-browsing, so that my downloads stop. I have to get up twice/thrice in the night to switch it on lest the download stops. If it is a torrent , it is OK. But if it is non-resumable download, all is lost. Their service department keeps you on hold saying your call is important to them, but their behavior does not seem to indicate that.
Their service engineer does not turn up despite repeated reminders. I often end up repairing the problem myself somehow, but after wasting a lot of time I can use for other work.
