The biggest mistake I made in my life was to subscribe to the BSES Powersurfer.net service
First of all I was made to act like a salesman to form a cluster to avail the service.
And then when I was finally connected started the nightmarish experience with this service
i have subscribed for this service since the last four months and am tired of the continous break downs it experiences.
the number and the duration of the breakdowns are awful.
the service is down for nearly two to three days at a stretch and this happens atleast twice a week
besides this there comes this drop in the connection ; and when this happens u lose important data which u have been working on
the most important thing is that the powersufer management blocks file transfers and file sharing and also give inadequate bandwith to download
this they claim is to improve the surfing speed which is pathetic and even worse then the dial-up service
they have blocke the ports of the file sharing services like KAZAA Imesh.
these file sharing softwares which allow u to download loads of stuff like movies mp3’s and even the latest full version games and softwares .
no other ISP in mumbai blocs these software which are also in effect all over the world.
also the 24/7 helpdesk it boasts of has little knowledge of what is required to handle the complaints.
and also when the big guns like mr. Jotinder and Mr. deepak chawla are contacted they are found wanting in the manners and the politeness needed to talk with the customers.
so frienda anyone palnning to subscribe to this service pls, pls and for gods sake pls change ur mind and choose among the rest
coz u will be another of the powersufferer and not powersurfer.
