Sales agents came to my organization to sell the Broadband datacard, and unfortunately I obliged. In 2 months of purchase, the data card developed technical faults. Went to an authorized service centre, and was told that it was a frequent phenomenon. 1 week later, had a new card but still not able to connect. On enquiry, was told that they could not authenticate my address and has put on hold. Fact is that no one ever called or came for an address verification.
Call centre agents were of no use, they said I have to travel to their office with another fresh set of address proof. I insisted that they must come to me, as they need to make amends, they agreed, but no one came by the given date. This happened twice. In disgust, I cancelled my membership but still got a final bill with unexplained amounts (in that period I was totally without service). Sent at least 10 mailers expressing dissatisfaction, but they never explained nor waived the last bill amount.
My honest advice - never ever try to take a Reliance data card. Other service providers are there in the market, I am perfectly happy with one of them.
