I am unfortunate subscriber of Reliance Wireless Broadband, I paid Rs 3, 750 for the USB modem with a monthly charges of Rs 1, 200. I was assured the connection would be activated with 24 hrs, but it took 4 days for them to activate.
Though browsing and download speed varies from place to place, I did not expect it to be so low. The download speed starts somewhere at 60 to 70 KBPS and goes down and hovers between 10 to 15 KPBS........ This is from a company who boasts browsing speed up to 3.1MBPS and download speed of 1.8 MBPS...
Now comes the best part my dear friends.............
After 4 days of activation, I was no longer able to go online, thinking it might be some installation problem I tried installing and uninstalling the USB software at least a dozen times, but nothing happened, being fed up I called the customer support and they tell me the services are terminated due to negative address verification.............
Now Isnt it ridiculous??? why did they take the money and more so why did they activate the connection if they were not satisfied with the address verification??? Are they not supposed to do this before they activate??? I had submitted all the documents required for verification, my (Photo id, DL, PAN Card, Electricity bill) I said I no more want your connection and your services I asked for the refund, she curtly told me she does not handle the refund part and asked me to go to a Reliance web world store and explain my situation.
I will going to a Reliance web world store today and see what unfolds, and I will keep you guys posted
I would really appreciate if you guys have anything to say.
