I started using Reliance Broadband(Wireline) from October 2015 after seeing their very low tariff and it was my worst experience ever. They have the worst customer support and they only want your money. They will give you a shitty modem even without wifi and no handset for the landline. When they set up the internet it was working for for 3-4 hours and then it stopped completely.
I called their customer care and they said that I was not registered as a reliance customer. I called the local operator and he said that it will take time to update the data and when I told him about the internet he gave me the engineer’s number and asked me to call him. The engineer never picked up the phone. I then called the local operator again and talked to his supervisor and threatened them that I will sue them if I don’t get internet immediately. It started working after a few hours. The internet speed was good but it went off after 15-30 minutes of use. It is not at all reliable and the internet stops frequently in short intervals.
If you are living in New Delhi please do not opt for Reliance and go for MTNL instead. I am using MTNL now and it is completely hassle free. It’s price is higher compared to Reliance but totally worth it. They will give you a wifi modem, a handset and very good customer support.
