RCom recently forced all CDMA data card users to move to 4G. As they were discontinuing CDMA they asked us to buy 4g Wi-Fi dongle and assured us that our existing data plan would remain same. However after migrating to 4G they steeply increased Rentals. There is a online petition running on Change.org. Also 4G dongle doesn’t works on 2g or 3g service network.
Also they are delaying to resolve my payment related issue. I paid amount of Rs 689 through my Citibank CC on 29 July which they are not acknowledging. I provided them with snapshot of my CC statement along with transaction reference number shared by the bank. Still they say that payment is not received.
I have posted many tweets on their Twitter page and have even forwards msg to DOT and minister of telecommunications, but Reliance seems to be a hard nut to crack.
My suggestion would be not to go for Reliance Communication 4G rather try Vodafone or Airtel.
