Reliance cutsomer care has told me that my billing has been stopped. & I can do whatever I like with the datacard. & since they did not send goondas and none misbehaved with me, I am free to report to the police. The matter thus is resolved.
I am still being billed. 11.26 am , 18/09. 8.48am , Monday 17/09.
Reliance has not answered whether they are billing me in spite of earlier writing to me that they have terminated my services. They say they need time to work this out. So I stand a scapegoat of the Reliance top brass. I continue to pay on or feel the heat of musclemen who assault 65yr old by-pass patients.
It is 22.53pm, 14/09/2007. I am rid of reliance. Thanks be to God. ( to be proved wrong later)
Reliance customer care has just written to me that upon my request they have terminated my services. They have added that my allegations against them is false and a company of their repute can never send goondas/ goons. They have also pointed out that the whole episode is from the pits of my own evil imagination. I leave it on the reader to decide.
At least I rejoice that I am rid of Reliance and this calls for a party. I have added the first part later:
The Kolkata nodal office of Reliance continues to mentally torture me. I have offered to go and fall at their feet in lieu of them terminating my services. It is 7.31pm, 14/09/2007 & they have started calling up my landline and pressuring my wife to part with my cell no. etc. to further abuse me. I have also declared that I am willing to hold my ears and stand in front of reliance house , kolkata for expitiating my sins of buying their card.
My dataconnect card no. is 9330078917. I had bought this card, upon written enquiry to the company to use it at Bishnupur, Bankura, West bengal. Everything was fine but about four months ago the service stopped here and my repeated queries led to abuses by the Kolkata nodal office.Ultimately, about three weeks ago Reliance Customer service told me that they cannot provide the service here anymore. All this while they had been billing me and periodically abusing me on the phone.
There was an outstanding bill of Rs 2200/- and yesterday ( 13.09.2007) goons/goondas from Reliance armed with my bill, datacard details visited my old dad ( 65yrs) and roughed him up warning him to shut up about the maleficent service and pay up. The goondas were led by Indranil Roy.
My life has been threatened and when I called up the appelate authority he dismissed my fears and promised to help. That has remained lip service. I have been asking reliance to terminate my services, they refuse to do so.
It was so surprising to know that Reliance sends goondas for bills for which no service has been provided. yesterday night the customer care has written back that no such incidents will occur in the future. Which means they have tacitly admitted to their roughing up techniques.
I and my family continue to live in fear. The Kolkata nodal office is acting vengefully against me and my family.
I must add that today ( 14th , sept ) a Mr sanjay called me up from +919339755155 to tell me that I am a problem creator among st laks of customers and he’d like to meet me and his people assaulted because my 65yr old dad ( I am the customer here ) abused the said goondas. This is a lie. As yet the Reliance authorizes have not bothered to apologies nor have they once said that they did anything wrong. Rather their threats continue.
In the meantime I have paid 3055/- as bill for insults received, physical manhandling and false accusations of dissatisfaction and abuses. At least this sanjay owned up that indeed he had sent the goondas.
Incidentally, when I had first reported the incident Reliance repeatedly wrote to me saying such things will not happen in the future. But now they have changed their tack and have blamed me fully for every misdeed.
