I bought the Reliance datacard for my wife, few years back. Even if it was not excellent, it was useful. Ten days back, she lost this usb dongle. Since then I have tried everything I can, to get this connection blocked/cancelled, but Reliance dont care.
I lost the card, 2 days before my payment due date for November. I thought I will confirm the cancellation and then make my final payment. So far, I have not defaulted a single payment of this card.
I called the local number, who advised I should call another toll free number. The person in that number wanted me to call another one, and then again, yet another number. None of these people was ready to cancel it. Finally I send them an email, and resend it two days later, but there has not been even an acknowledgement for that mail. Interesting enough, two days after I send my email, I got a new offer from Reliance trying to sell a new internet dongle with a new plan - curious isnt it. This was the first time I received something like that from them.
However, now am getting annoyed that am getting at least two calls every day asking for my November payment. To each and every one, I mentioned my willingness to pay the bill, but would like to see a confirmation that my data card connection is annulled. Today, I received 4 calls from Reliance, all asking for balance payment.
I am saying this in a public place. I dont want to cheat my payments. But am not going to pay the last bill, until this BLOODY company confirms that they have cancelled my connection.
