A few years ago the Reliance data card used to work just fine. Now I dont know what has happened. The speed is often PAINFULLY slow. Perhaps they are greedily hooking up more customers than what they can provide bandwidth for. Often you cant even open the google search page but have to keep refreshing and disconnect/connect for a long time just to load one page. Youll soon go crazy about that constant "Page not found" screen. And this is my experience even though I live in the middle of south Delhi where you would expect the connection to work fine.
Customer service is TERRIBLE! No one seems to know anything and they act rude and just seem to come up with solutions that dont work just to get you off the line.
Two weeks after I brough the USB type datacard it stopped working even though I had taken very good care of it. It took 1, 5 months to have it replaced and endless hours trying to sort things out with the people at the so called "custumer support". No one seemed to know how to handle such a basic situation. I must have been in touch with at least 20-30 people and had to visit many places in person before everything got sorted out. If I would have known it would be such a mess I wouldnt had bothered.
Several times when Ive asked to have my plan changed they have failed to do so. Once I had asked to change to the unlimited plan and was assured it would be activated within 48 hours. I was naive enough to believe them so started downloading stuff and received an outrageous bill and got my service barred. This too became a complete mess to sort out and finally I had to settle on a "compromise" to get the service up and running again.
I could write about many more similar experiences but I think this review is long enough now and that you get the point.
To sum up my experience with Reliance and their data card in one word I would choose: AWFUL!
Choose something else. With Reliance datacard youre just wasting your money, time and peace of mind.
