If you are planning to buy a Reliance Data Card (Specially from ConnectIndia.in), Please do not BUY.
I bought a Reliance Data Card after receiving the mail (attached as trailing mail) from ConnectIndia team. After purchasing I realised that I have made a biggest mistake of my life by purchasing a RELIACE NET CONNECT data card.
ConnectIndia.in is just providing wrong or incomplete information/commitment to the customers. From the very first day, I am too much disappointed with your way of working. Nothing is given to me as committed.The delivery and activation was committed within 2 days. It took a one week for activation. I opted for an unlimited bandwidth connection.
But my connection is not an unlimited. Its limited to 20GB and after that I have to pay 2Rs/MB I opted for Monthly Plan of Rs.750 /PM. Lateran I come to know that my plan is Rs. 1099 and for initial 12 months, it’s a waiver of Rs 349 on Monthly rental. So as result I have to pay Rs. 750 only. After that I have to pay Rs. 1099/PM. Holiday voucher for GOA. If anyone wants to plan a trip, it’s not at all useful. Voucher will not be applicable for: 15th Jan’09 - 15th Mar’09

Now tell me, when anyone can plan for a trip. Even I have to pay Rs. 800 as processing charges extra. It’s just a worst deal I have done in my life.2GB USB is still awaited. So let see, what surprise I will get in a bundled offer. When I purchased the data card, they told me that it will work on VISTA. When I installed it on VISTA, my OS gets starts crashing. When I called up Reliance Customer Care, they told me that "Its a new hardware. and we dont have any information, ". Can you expect this kind of silly reply from technical customer care? I know, this mail is not going to impact on anybody and you will make your decision.
But atleast try to findout the truth and facts.... and also try to take all the commitments on papers. I have tried to explain the issues what I have faced during my interactions with connectindia.in and reliance data cards. I raised my all concerns to Reliance data card customer care, but nobody is interested in dealing such kind of issues. So In a way, Reliance is also encouraging this way of method to increase its customer base. Please spread this message to your friends collegues whoever is planning to buy Reliance data card. I am not again to Reliance Data Card. I am just trying to expose the issues what I have faced due to ConnectIndia.in and no support from Reliance Customer Care.
