Horrible experience

I purchased the Relinace Netconnect Broadband modem on 12th of December 2009. The device stopped working (No signal) after three days. On 22nd Dec 09 I lodged a complaint with the customer care.


I was out of station at that time and I approcahed the service centre at Kollam, Kerala, they informed me that since this is purchased in bangalore they can give only a letter and I need to get the replacement from bangalore itslef. I came back from vacation on 1st Jan 10 and approached the Service Centre at Indiranagar, bangalore. They found the problem is with the device and I got the replacement on 11th Jan 10.( Sagar e technologies is the authorised service centre in bangalore. Their service is horrible .


I am not getting that part now). But the device again stopped yesterday(12th Jan) showing the same issue( no signal). Today one technical service executive from reliance visited my house and he rectified the signal issue but it was not authenticating and showing the error message no 691. He told me that the problem is that I do not have enough balance in the account, But I checked with the customer care and they told me that I have still 5 rs in the account which is enough to authenticate and connect.


There is a 10gb free usage which comes up with this datacard for month. But I couldnt use this as the device was faulty.


The customer care people told me that they cant help me on this. I tried to call the reliance nodal office for Karnataka, but the number is always busy. Then I sent an email to them but still there is no reply.


I dont recommend anybody to buy this product. There were few other customers waiting in the service centre to get the replacement of the device siting the same issue. Their Customer care sucks! dont go for it. The model I am using is huawei ec1260.
