I purchased a bathroom slipper or flip-flops from Reliance Footprint, Indiranagar 2 weeks back. It is a brand called FRISBEE (their own brand).As it was fitting fine, I never bothered to keep the bill.After 2-3 days, the color (black) on the rubber sole started staining my soles. Slowly I saw it started staining my house floor also.
When I took it to the Store, the Dept. Manager Mr.Srinivas promptly checked the item, admitted, it is their own brand. However, he said, he is unable to replace or exchange as it is without EAN no.Even though the cash register is having a list of all EAN nos. of all Frisbee Chappals, he refused saying the same cannot be admitted.I also accept the return/replace does not work without bill. But at least, the management should take it up with your suppliers of the same.
Same time, similar item bought from BATA 2 years back continues serve without any problem!Too fast expansion/growth without the requisite quality checks is not good for any group. Kindly take note.
