I went to do shopping on 31/10/2010 in Reliance Trend and there they had posted everywhere that after doing shopping above Rs 5, 000, Rs 3, 000 gift coupon will be given. After billing and payment done, at the exit gate they gave me gift coupon no. 351504 to 351509 of Rs 3, 000 (Rs 500*6 ) and said I can do shopping from 8th to 21st Nov.
When I went on to do shopping and to use the coupon, I was told that I can use only Gift coupon of every Rs500 for a shopping of Rs 1, 000. It was written on the coupon in small font as usual.
My concern here is, why Reliance Trend people didn’t tell me when they were issuing coupon to me or why they didn’t tell me at the time of billing? It shows that Reliance Trend is cheating/misleading customer.
