I stay in Cochin and I have a Reliance outlet close to my house(Jawahar Nagar). I am also a privileged member of Reliance and usually I do shopping in the afternoons, not in the evening, to avoid rush. Reliance is famous for their HR division and Training Division. But unfortunately, the staff available at this shop are not even seen the training halls of Reliance or even a small HR consultant. Leaving all the cash counters, except one empty, the busy youth employees play with their cell phones most of the time and the customer has to shout to get a cashier at the counter.
Forget the hi-tech retailing courses and training. Any simple person with basic education should understand that the customers time is important and also they are being paid by Reliance for the time they play on their N-72 mobile phones. To my shock, today I got all my items packed in a single cover. The items are, one agarbathi, one matchbox, two packets of frozen milk, one toilet cleaner and one cover of onions. Should somebody train them to induce commonsense to understand the basic packing principles?
Shame on Reliance to have such team and the customer level to run this multimillion show. God bless.
