Pathetic, Pathetic, and Pathetic

I purchased Reliance Hello for internet purpose(NetConnect service). The Reliance WebWorld executive told me that it is a broadband connection. But when I connected to internet I found it to be a dial-up connection. It was so slow that when I logged in to my office vpn(which was the main reason to buy the phone), it used to disconnect after a coupleof minutes everytime. Frustrated, I had to go for Airtel Broadband connection. Now when I tried to return the handset and terminate the connection at Reliance WebWorld, the executive there convinced me to keep the connection with low monthly rental and find someone to the connection to be transferred. She told that the money spent on purchasing the landline equipment(phone) will not be refunded. They would take it back for free. Since I paid Rs 1500 for the equipment(the phone), I am not willing to return it without refund.


Now, when I tried to call there customer care, everytime I ended up waiting for 10 - 20 min. Also, they don’t have direct number for postpaid customers. Everytime the call goes to the prepaid department, and from there it is transferred to postpaid department. There again the customer has to wait for someone pick the call, which I found most of the time 10 min. Even I tried once waiting for more than half an hour, but nobody picked up the phone.


Finally, at last my call wa picked up, and there was the same reply. I will not get the refund. They are refunding me only Rs 250, taken as caution money towards the connection. I have completely lost my faith from this Reliance. They are cheating on customers hard-earned money. But I have decide, I’ll fight to get my money back.
