When we talk about open market economies and liberalisations and growth in gdp per se, we should be prepared to face monopolies. look at microsoft or enron, anybody noticed anything wrong with them before they were taken to the courts? well its upto the people to be awake and vigilant, to protect their own rights against monopolies. please dont expect the governments to stop them from hedgemony. reliance is no exception to this rule. when a large corporate funds and contributes to the process of making a government, it has to take something back in kind. makes any sense? there are no free meals in this world. its but obvious that they will have rules and policies made to their order, when they have such a large stake in the economy for themselves. the people at large need to be cautious and questioning to the rules our policies framed by our leaders, ’cuz our protection is in our hands, not anybody else’s. please stop blaming corporates and others, everything depends on us (the people at large)
