Encouraged by the good speeds in the last 5 months, I joined Jio prime membership and also recharged on advance for about 2 months on my 3 numbers(self, wife, JioFi). What I have observed is that once you use about 10 to 11 GB in a month now, speeds are severely throttled by these guys. This is total cheating in the name of 1 GB every day. You cannot consume a GB every day if you don’t get a decent 4G speed. This is a simple and logical thing. So beware of this offer they promise, it’s a hoax. I am just hoping that with the subscribers dropping out in April after free services are over, some improvements in service occur. However, this speed throttling issue if you are a regular 1GB/day user is very evident. I will definitely consider moving back to incumbent service providers once I exhaust my recharges. Anyways, I haven’t made these my primary Sim.
