Almost Its Amazing

Despite being called out by the Cellular Operators Association of India ( COAI) for running commercial services under the garb of testing, Reliance Jio has opened its 90-day free “Preview Offer” for more smartphone brands. Users of select Asus and Panasonic smartphones are now also eligible to get a Jio connection. This adds to the existing list of smartphones from LYF, Samsung and LG. Last week some users reported that Jio had opened the offer to any 4G smartphone user but the carrier hasn’t publicly announced it, which would lend more credibility to COAI’s claims. The Preview Offer in essence offers users with unlimited access to internet data, calls, and messaging, as well as, Jio’s suite of apps including JioJoin, JioBeats, JioOnDemand and JioPlay among others.

As is the norm, users with a compatible Asus or Panasonic smartphone need to first download the MyJio app from the Google Play Store and then follow the instructions to get their hands on a Jio SIM card. Speaking of compatible smartphones, the ones from Asus include the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ( ZE550KL) , Asus Zenfone 2 ( ZE551ML) , Asus Zenfone Max ( ZC550KL) , Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 ( ZE500KL) , Asus Zenfone 2 ( ZE550ML) , Asus Zenfone Selfie ( ZD551KL) , Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ( ZE601KL) , Asus Zenfone Zoom ( ZX551ML) , Asus Zenfone Go, Asus Zenfone 3 ( ZE552KL) , Asus Zenfone 3 Laser ( ZC551KL) , Asus Zenfone 3 ( ZE520KL) , Asus Zenfone 3 ( ZS570KL) , and the Asus Zenfone 3 ( ZU680KL) .
