I am using Reliance jio since July 2016. My experience with jio is excellent. Yes it was very hard to get jio sim because it ws just launched about a month ago before I get it. I have to wait in a queue for 5 hrs.
In starting I had faced some problems with internet and calling connectivity. After 3, 4 days internet doesnt works for some hours. And call connects after trying 10-12 times. But you cant complain about it because whatever you were getting was all free.
Calling from jio to jio is little different then calling from jio to other operators. Because from jio to jio has HD calling function. And voice is more clearer then ordinary calling.
In starting there was a unexpected problem of auto disconnection after some minuted and you have to call again several times for a long conversation.
Talking about internet speed. If you are living in main cities you will get excellent speed. Sometimes I got more then 1mbps of downloading. But in busy hours when most people using internet the is about half of it.
There is trick for unlimited downloading. If you download anything from 2 am to 5 am early morning . Your main data will remain unused. You can download as much as you can.
I have recharged my jio account with 1gb of plan in March. Which will work till July . It means in ₹99+ ₹303 I got 4 months of validity and unlimited calling. Which is excellent.
But I do not advice you to port your personal number to jio. Because there is a problem. If you are using dual sim phone whenever you switch your internet connectivity to other sim jio network will disappear and you cannot able to use it until you switch it again to jio.
I prefer it to everyone if you have a 4g phone. Because its cheap and best. But dont suggest you to port your number to jio.
