Reliance Jio was introduced by the Ambani’s Reliance group in the mid of 2016. It started becoming popular from the month of Aug-Sep’16. The main reason for its popularity was reliance giving free internet to all its Jio users which was a completely new and interesting idea for the Indians. After all, everyone of us likes things which is free of cost and in India, using internet was really expensive and slow. Jio introduced the 4G internet in india - internet at high speeds, with download speeds of 3Mb/s. Not only was its internet free, but it was also giving calling at free of cost. In India we call it "Sone pe Suhaga" - double benefit. It give its users free service which works on VoLTE feature for almost a year. Now anyone who still desires to continue with Jio services has to pay Rs 99 for membership and an amount of rs 303 for 3 months access to services of JIO. Also the internet usage limit has been capped to 1Mb per day.
